Hemsky has little value and D prospects really don't have as much value as a lot of fans- myself included- like to think. The 1st is the biggest value there. If you make it Kulikov like I suggested later in the post, it makes it a better deal. This trade also adds extra accountability in that the team doesn't have a pick to bomb for.

Eh. I'm done with high picks. If we can a top-4 Dman like Kulikov or Campbell in a deal, I'd take it. It also improves our team which makes the pick a fair deal lower.

i think the trade of smid and signing of bryz did something positive for edm. by adding and subtracting the right pieces can keep this drive going well.
