With how bad the East is there's a chance that even 11th in the west could be 16th overall. That would be a nice level of confidence for us, and isn't out of the question.

It sure is nice to watch Oiler games of late- confidence sure goes a long way... We have 3 lines producing... Eberle and co have it going on, Yaks and gags are clicking and Perron is just on fire!!!! The team skates and there is puck support- amazing if the team works good things happen and a little 'mo' goes along way too And TBH our offense missed Jultz too- esp on PP... and since Bryz came into the picture Dubnyk found his game... Chicago will be a good test and good game to watch

I would take a North American player over a European player 8 times out of 10. Just saw the highlites from last night , Ebbs has the great porn moustache going

If you have a solid and set team, taking a European in the draft and letting him develop into a solid supporting piece is great. I think PRV could be a great player someday, if he was able to go to a team like Detroit, Boston, Pittsburg, San Jose, heck, even LA.

While people will say "ya ya ya you beat weak teams" while that is true, more importantly these are confidence boosters. You can never underestimate the importance of the mental game in hockey. Those 3 wins are huge going forward. I hope they keep building on it.

I was saying yesterday that an Edmonton Florida trade would be beneficial for both teams. They have pieces we could use like Kulikov, Matthias (both been reported as available) and Drew Shore who is below a few big centres on the depth chart. All would be great acquisitions for reasonable price.

My thoughts exactly- if we can work to getting to .500 prior to Xmas or close- anything is possible the 2nd half- albeit many- myself included are overly optimistic now by the way the team is playing- but anything is possible with a working and healthy team

Man- if Perron had teammates that could keep up his pace his production could even be increased- although I do like when Smyth parks his ass in front of the net- its just the other parts of his current game I could and would replace... further if Smyth sits and Arco replaces on wing it would likely be even better IMO...

I hope there aren't a lot of 3 point games in the West. I think things will level off a bit though. I don't think the playoff picture at the end of the year will look how it does now where the top 8 West teams would be 1st in the East
