Man- if Perron had teammates that could keep up his pace his production could even be increased- although I do like when Smyth parks his ass in front of the net- its just the other parts of his current game I could and would replace... further if Smyth sits and Arco replaces on wing it would likely be even better IMO...

I'll admit that I had my time of hate on the guy, but who hasn't? Seeing him do well in his probable final season is great! I think most of the hate came from hmi being on the first line for a while at the start of the season.

Everything about that play was awesome. Just the fact that we won the faceoff in their zone was awesome since we don't seem to do that very often

The Calgary win was huge for the team, but in all seriousness it just showed how poopty the flames actually are. So much for all the " Calgary is ahead of the Oil in the rebuild" bullpoope. If you are up 2-0, going into the third playing against the worst team in the league and they score 4 unanswered to win, that is just awful, and proves the flames hot start, was just a fluke, and they have come back down to earth and are playing to their potential. Which is not much.

Have to agree with this. I harp on smytty for being as slow as (frank), but the facts are he is a solid vet who is putting up points, and is on pace for just under 20g and 40pts on the season. Can't complain about that from an old guy playing 3rd line mins with some pp and pk time.

Smyth is still Smyth around the net, but his issue has been his skating. He has slowed quite a bit. Once in the zone though he is still the man in front of goalies and around the crease.

All Western teams period. Vancouver is on the way down and Winnipeg seems to be consistently mediocre.

So how many more wins in a row does it take before the blogger who thinks he knows better than the Coach and GM for the team, stops all the Arco is better in the lineup than Acton blah blah blah garbage???

the fact remains that Arco had even LESS to do with said wins.
