The important thing is that he's getting the quality chances. It's the same reason I appreciate Arco's game more than guys like JLO. Sure it sucks that he doesn't convert on a fair number of his chances, but the fact that his play on the ice creates those chances- not only for himself, but others as well- is frankly astounding! I've begun seeing this element in Gagner's game of late, too.

Honestly, I disagree. I'm one of Jones' biggest detractors on these boards, but I was impressed by his play in the last few games he played in. He was doing what he needed to do!

I'd rather Arco be in at 2C, but that's cause I like his play in the Dzone and his faceoffs, but if you have something that's working, you stick with it!

Yeah it's a tough call, to my mind he has to wear the cage until February anyway so if the jaw is set enough might as well get started on the awkward learning curve return if you can.

He's getting going now though but beyond snakebit - that poop is in his head.

EDIT: The jaw is still super tender or something but between that and the cage he is shooting all wrong.

Both have been great for us! Perron brings an element of grit along with his skill that this team was lacking. It helps that the grit makes him functional on a shutdown line like the one he's on now!

Yeah that has been lost (quite fairly) here early in the season but most of the pickups/trades Mac-T has done have been above board.

Im so happy dubie has found his game, fingers crossed he doesn't do bad now. guess a good back up was the answer, why we had labadgoalie as a back up for a goalie in his 1st year as a starter was dumb
