From the Denver Post "Charged with one count of third-degree assault, a misdemeanor" - DDM-Coga
Yeah I know. That other Avs fan and I hashed all that out. |

When did I say he was prescious , stop with your hate filter bros, I never said that, I hate all Leaf Dmen equally with one exception..Ranger
its okay you dont have to agree with, but you dont have to put words in my mouth - poohcrumbs
not once have i heard a thought out argument regarding people's dislike of him.. not once.
so yeah.. i call out the haters for not making sense. |

cept he has the second best even strength numbers on the d-corps
and is outscoring your prescious gardiner - Dozzer
Noting wrong with Ranger, I say by midway point most Leaf fans will be praising Ranger. Not sure what your hate-on for Gardiner is though ("your prescious Gardiner").....he stunk last night for sure but has been much better of late. I think he is trying to adjust to playing better D to stay out of Carlyles dog house and still remain an offensive threat from the back.....I personally think Gardiner is going to be a very good NHLer when he figures it all out. |

SotaPopinski needs to know the ground rules with her, his mission this winter is set up shop with her.
And whats with Feaster these days, the guy is just making minor trades like its his day job or something |

have a good Friday - poohcrumbs
He got shoved, I am not a Ranger fan, but he barely played last night it seemed until it was 4-1
Gardiner is total AHL material right now, Franson didn't look much better but was left hanging most of the game while Gardiner pinched and was out of position. When the d were in position, our forwards were 3 deep at the goal line.
(frank)ing preds goalie was there for the pickings and we let them off the hook.
But even Phaneuf was average at best |

yep, Ranger is really starting to get his game back. - prock
Overall I agree... He's gotten far better the last 8-10 games... Still has moments he looks lost when it comes to making the right split second decision, but the hate on for him is a bit unwarranted.
All in all I think the d-corps has a long way to go, but some of the major concerns a month ago are not as bad (mostly around Gards and Ranger).
What I really want to know is why Fraser is playing over Morgan..
I get that Carlyle likes his stay at home, tough Dmen.. But Fraser was slow enough before his injury, now he can barely skate. And the team is FAR better with EITHER Gards or Ranger playing than him. |

gardiner hasnt improved much at all in the last 2 or 3 seasons
he's pretty one dimensional.. and i would like to see him moved before his value really drops off.. and it has already started.
on an offensive team this kid is dangerous.. but under a carlyle defense first system he just doesnt fit.
so either move him or change the coach and style of play.. one or the other i am fine with. |

Most likely preventing her from leaving. Officers will usually tack on as many questionable charges as possible depending upon on the situation. |

you should. The case was given to the DA in late October to review and today after their review, are formally charging him with a misdemeanor 3rd degree count of assault
this is no longer up for debate...it is what it is, end of story. - 10baci

Agreed, last night was just a bad game all around. I don't think it speaks to where either Gards or Ranger are right now in their development |

oh yeah! I saw the other day they were laughing that some guy on HF was posting about some Leafs fan including Mason Raymond in a trade for Chris Tanev. Said something like "Raymond, Kulemin, and a pick/prospect for Tanev". Then laughs at that.
Really? I wouldn't trade Kulemin OR a pick/prospect straight up for Tanev. Who the hell wants their depth junk????? in fairness it was one of their posters who has a tendency to be "over-optimistic" about his own team. |

Because the Leafs have too many offensive guys, and Rielly is the worst one defensively by far. Fraser is very badly needed. If they had two of him, I'd play them both. |

I don't think it will matter what kind of system Gards plays, he just doesn't get the job done. He has no idea how to play between the blue lines - no strength and shoots like a girl and doesn't make the right pass ( all in 1 game )
You think he would be better by now.
But the (frank)er can skate to sad the bad out weighs the good. |

Fraser is very badly needed? Are you serious? The guy can't even skate fluidly right now. I can't remember which goal when he played over the weekend was 100% caused by the fact he couldn't keep up with who he was covering... and I believe the guy he was covering was like 34 years old and known as a poor skater at best... and he lost him in 2 seconds.
Don't get me wrong, I like Fraser.. Like his style, determination and grit... But we need someone who can keep up and he can't. I'm all for guys who play like him, but they have to be more effective than him |

nah, disagree.. in a high tempo offense system where the play is pressing the opposition defense he's great.. but when he has to allow the play to develop in front of him it takes away his biggest asset which is skating. |
