Gardiner only got caught pinching 184 times but no giveaways
- Garnie

Thats his job to pinch...they where losing hes suppose to jump up and try to create something and of course your guna get caught doing it hes not a Noris winner. So those are not his fault if he jumps up and the puck goes by him the coach wouldn't even be mad you cant win 100% of every pinch.

Fraser is very badly needed? Are you serious? The guy can't even skate fluidly right now. I can't remember which goal when he played over the weekend was 100% caused by the fact he couldn't keep up with who he was covering... and I believe the guy he was covering was like 34 years old and known as a poor skater at best... and he lost him in 2 seconds.

Don't get me wrong, I like Fraser.. Like his style, determination and grit... But we need someone who can keep up and he can't. I'm all for guys who play like him, but they have to be more effective than him

Rielly is the worst I dont think so
- jake24242

Defensively? I think so. He's just got a lot to learn, that's all. I know you guys get all enamoured with him, and I don't blame you, the kid is a gem, but that doesn't mean he's perfect. He's got a lot to learn on the defensive side of the game.

So Gardiner was our best D?

Or was he 2nd worse behind Ranger in your eyes?

None of our D were tearing it up that's for sure.

- Garnie

If I had to pick Rielly was the best D even though Ranger makes him look worse most nights. Id say Gardiner was actually second best. Phaneuf was asleep all night gunnerson is gunnerson and he had to many turn overs also.

Im not saying he is perfect i try to look at everything non bias but I think Rielly has been more impressive defensively then offensively tbh. He takes the body to the boards very well and he isn't just pushed off the puck he has nhl strength and his stick is very active.

Ok I guess he played about 3 minutes on Saturday but hasn't been in the line up since.

Seems strange to blame a guy that isn't even playing...

Phaneuf had a couple naps, but Gards is out to lunch. You will win zero games when Franson is defending 2 on 1s all night.

Franson also left Gards hanging a couple times.

We agree to disagree, funny everybody in here today didn't think Gards was good at all last night but really - who gives a (frank) - tomorrow's another day lets hope they all pull up their socks or it's gonna be a long season

Cheers, I'm out.

No one blamed him for anything. He DID get out skated which caused a goal. but I wasn't blaming him.. All I was saying was that I'd play ALL of our other DMEN who have been on the roster regularly this year before I would him.
