I dont need to watch it. Ive watched it several times cause I loved watching Rinaldo knock him out. Entertaining - GOA88
I dont see anything wrong with this. Its not like his head was on the ice and he was wailing away. He was punching a guy as he falls. It happens all the time in NHL fights. Its not dirty. There was no way for Rinaldo to know in those 3 seconds he was falling that Crombeen was unconscious and not just falling because he lost balance. |

What statement does it make if you beat the Lightning without Stamkos? Not to mention Lurch Lindback and his .872 save %. |

If we play like the Philadelphia Flyers tonight, we will win. Team sport. If tonight we play like the Philadelphia Giroux's, we will lose. The Captain has to play his game and trust his teammate to play their game. He doesn't have to take the weight of the team on his shoulders. |

How about he is a grown man being challenged to a fight in a sport that has FIGHTING. Get a pair of balls and defend yourself. - GOA88
The NHL doesn't have Fighting. It is illegal as it is in every sport, the NHL just doesn't have strict penalities for it... usually just 5 minute major penalities...
In the NHL, if a player doesnt want to fight, he shouldnt have to. That is why I didnt like the Emery fight. That and Emery just didnt stop.
Rinaldo on the other hard threw puches as the player was going down, in a fight the guy agreed to. 2 completely different issues. |

Oh, eah my bad
every fight guys swing on the way down when their opponent is knocked out
guys swing when their opponent is on the ground every fight in the NHL, I forgot - RileyB77
How is Rinaldo supposed to know the guy was knocked out and not just lost his balance? |

No Bishop tonight? - Marc D
Nope. He got injured during the skate. Lightning said he wasn't starting anyway. Big break. Bishop has been stellar this year. Lindback is a total stiff. |

I guess you're too young to remember the 1996 playoff series between the flyers and lightning. Go ask your dad how michel petit played back then. That was dirty. |

that's fine, but the punches need to be stopped when the opponent is down. that's all, people talk about wanting fighting banned and that fight is 1 example why, I love fighting in the game, but that wasn't for me
I love the big hits, I love the huge punches, I love the big fights and bench brawls when their even and clean,
I don't like cheap shots, I don't like hits from behinds, knees, hits to the head, or breaking the fighter code - RileyB77

haha , physicality does not offend me at all, dirty hockey offends me
theres a code in fighting, rinaldo broke it. so vinny gave the flyers back what they dished out, that's all that happened...rinaldo was overly aggressive and it was a dirty fight at the end, everything before it (including crombeen getting his ass whooped) was completely fair, once a guy is knocked out on the ice why keep throwing punches?
it doesn't matter it was last year, but that's why I think rinaldo is dirty..people asked me why I HATE him, that's why...sure hes an agitator and bugged me to begin with, but that's why I hate him, throwing punches on a guy that didn't even know he was falling he was so (frank)ed up .. and kept delivering the whole way down. watch the fight and youll be ashamed your defending that fight - RileyB77
Oh this is STILL a thing?
Rinaldo was throwing as Crombeen was falling. Not when he was on his back, like Vinny was doing to Talbot.
Rinaldo knocked Crombeen into the next zipcode after Crombeen goaded him into the fight. Sorry not sorry. |

well, in 7 games without stammer we are 3-3-1 and post a 2.57 GPG average, still better than some teams |

Watching Lindros pound him and Ulanov at the end of that series was priceless. Ulanov was as dirty as anyone I've ever seen, he spent the entire series going after guys knees. |

Watching game 6 of the 2004 Cup....TB vs CGY....
I was only about 11 yrs old so I don't remember this much nor did I really care at the time, but you guys remember the play where a Flame was stopping near the crease, and the puck rebounded off Khabby and hit the stopping Flame's skate and was padded away by Khabby.....
Except the puck actually crossed the line and WASN'T REVIEWED.
It was 2-2 at the time with about 10 minutes left in regulation.... |
