Crombeen will get KO by rinaldo in the first 5 min and we will be down a winger...I hope he learned his lesson after the last fight : rinaldo fights dirty and punches when the player is down. if I was the best fighter in the league I wouldn't fight that little poop |

I wonder...would Craig Berube actually scratch Scott Hartnell for Michael Raffl?

I will say this, if the Flyers are going to fight the Lightning we only have one of our fighters playing in the game. Punching Bag Crombeen. Our other fighters are Malone, Gudas, Aulie, and Labrie who are all out.
Prediction is Crombeen becomes a punching bag to say Rinaldo and that's its for the fights because the only other guy that will fight playing tonight for the Bolts is Hedman and they can't risk losing him for 5 plus minutes. - stammerman
I certainly wouldn't want Hedman fighting. Or rather, I would. Unless he was traded to the Flyers, then I wouldn't. |

well ive learned on this site pretty quick that if you mention any good things about your team you better be ready to get poop on , that's all
I just didn't agree when he said we only have 1 good line, and I told him he is in for a surprise..
I could give you all a scouting report on our 4 lines and how solid they are but im just gonna get bashed and get called a homer - RileyB77
You're supposed to mention good stuff about your team. You're a Lightening fan, and frankly, I had the same question about who to look for tonight on the 'Ning.
Just for reference....there are Pens fans here that come regularly, and since they (mostly) behave themselves, no one bothers them. |

Eh, hopefully there are no stupid staged fights. Most people here would be fine with getting rid of Jay Rosehill. |

I, too, would like a peek at Kucherov....I have seen the Lightning play once this season and once in the preseason, so I didn't want to get into the discussion about who is or isn't good. They are fast, though.
I know I'll never convince you, but Mark Streit's fine. He has his flaws, same as Carle did. Once our defense is a bit stronger, I'm still willing to bet you won't notice him nearly as much as you do now.
I do believe the Flyers have options to make the defense stronger, to the point where Streit is on the third pair and the 2nd PP unit, which is where he will be most effective. I don't think he's been awful, or great, on the second pair. There have been times when he has been exposed, but over 22 games, they all have been. - AllInForFlyers
Streit scares me because of his contract. One of the worst, and the fact that we used money we got from getting out from under another terrible contract grinds my gears. We are likely to see diminishing returns with Streit which makes me cringe to think about.
Right now I would hesitate to give him even a 2 year deal at 3mil if we could do it over again. |

That would be interesting, but I'm guessing Rosehill sits because Tampa doesn't have a true head basher that Berube feels compelled to match. |

Emery's been getting a lot more playing time lately and while he's playing relatively well, i dont see why he's getting this much playing time.
Especially since there's no back to back tomorrow. Maybe Berube is trying to get closer to a 50/50 split between the two guys. I say ride Mason, unless it's a back to back or ocassional breather, the guy's young he can play lots. |

While he's had a few bright moments, and we've seen some of his trademark gaffes, his play as a whole has been nothing more than pedestrian. Maybe I'm finding it nearly impossible to reconcile that with his cap-hit, term and the circumstances surrounding his signing.
If this was about taking the trade-off between above-average puck-moving for below-average defensive play from a guy like Tom Gilbert, on a $900k, 1-year bargain, I'd be over the moon. But Streit is taking over FIVE MILLION BUCKS per... how many Tom Gilberts could you buy with that? |
