Oh I see. So your ok with talk about blasting in his ex girlfriends face if he calls you gay? That's cool.your now a 7.2/10 as far as refs go. - Jeropotato
Once again it was the comment you quote Jesus you are touchy tonight
Oh okay carry on with your tangent then. - Yeti1181
Nah, I'm done. Besides , a 7.2/10 is the highest I ever ranked a ref on HB before. It is an honor never before bestowed upon any of you (frank)ers. You should wear it like a badge of honour....sorta like how Rutts wears man-goo on his mouth and chin.

truth be told, I think bryz bailed us out abit and Nashville probably carried the play marginally. but we certainly weren't outplayed badly and we were able to break out without too much trouble and limit any real sustained pressure. solid effort by the defence.
all 4 forward lines had pretty good nights too, but I was loving the bottom 6. joensuu and jones played physical and agitating. and the 3rd line was solid at both ends. Gordon and perron
pretty good game against a decent team. hopefully bryz can keep it up
the top pairing dman goes without saying, but watching the game tonight I couldn't help but continue to think how much more formidable we'd be with a big body that can skate abit in that top 6. we still have too many rushes that get pushed to the outside quickly with nothing materializing, loss of possession, and the puck headed the other way.
im fine with the top 6 always trying to carry the puck in as keeping possession isn't a bad thing. but I think it's as much to do with not having the option to dump as it is for strategy purposes. our smaller skilled forwards tend to lose those battles forechecking down low. (nuge doesn't truly count though as his puck smarts and craftiness along the wall are fantastic) that big body could do wonders in both down low puck battles and driving the net drawing defenders and creating space for the puck carrier.

As they should be...kinda like kids...nobody every says" I wish we had THAT baby instead." - Jeropotato
(frank) that, true to a point, but guarantee there are parents and dog owners that think (frank), ours is a pain in the ass and that one is so well behaved....which is usually directly a reflection of the owner/parent.

unless their is some new fangled dog heart to human I'm unaware of I'm little concerned for you at this moment - Yeti1181
well first my heart is a ginger heart, so only compatible with other gingers, second, if I had to risk my life in some sort of weird movie/tv scenario to save my dog, I probably wouldn't think twice in the heat of the moment.

Booooo fine. I am sure jeropotato just said funny stuff. It's all good, we aren't a bunch of broads in here. Clout's, LB, and Pilgor don't hang around much anymore.

Yeah. Allegedly a girl. Why because someone throws up an avatar we all assume it is who they say it is. That is (frank)ing fantastic cause I look forward to hanging out with Laughs AKA Stewie Griffin.
Funny she left right after clouts....clouts ALT account maybe? Or his wife perhaps?

No I remember chatting with her and bunch of people and believe she mention husband and kids and her name was oil princess and kind of put two and two together. Also there is a girl ref on here too watch out for her.

I literally just realized this now. I apparently drank too much tequila and came how when the 2nd period was ending, because I just had it on pause it only lasted for an hour, so I thought it was live.
Soooooo yeah (frank)ers, I missed another game and we won. I will not watch a game for the rest of the year - ruttager17

Good Post.
Obviously, were not going to get that Top pairing guy this year and he will likely need to be signed in the offseason (heres to over paying girardi/Phaneuf). But a real solid Top 6 big man could be had for what we got in prospects, im sure of it... Kulelmin and a second line center would be nice. A combination of draft picks, klef, Marincin and hemsky should fetch us a big man
PS: How awesome is greg chase? He played phenomenal last night against russia. Dudes gritty with a serious nose for the net. i really hope his game translates to the NHL.

Well, his numbers do project well. He scores a lot at even strength and he plays a very pro-style game to my eye. In my opinion, a good comparable might be a guy like Bolland. Middling 2/3C that plays hard and drives the opposition crazy. I'm still amazed at how far he dropped!
Lowetide did a wonderful piece on him (and a bunch of other Oilers prospects) that I suggest you give a read if you're interested! Here's the link:
