I agree. Just letting you know the likelihood of what his tiny mind was thinking.

You only mentioned tonight's game.

anyways... 20 comments in, and there are far more relevant talking points.

thought maybe there would be something on Eller's value, or the Leafs porous D, or Diaz's worth...

you know, instead of Howard's skates...

They will.

Shorter term, less money than Emelin.

He's an asset and they won't let him walk for nothing.

He's getting a lot of hate considering how well he's been playing since the beginning of the season.

Well the Leafs defense was horrible, I'm starting to understand why they feel they can't afford to lose Phaneuf.

I get what you're saying about Diaz, and you're right, he can't be replaced this year by anyone in the system.

But I'm not sure I'd be willing to offer him a long term contract after this year considering we have some young players who deserve a chance to prove what they can do next year.

As for Eller's worth, you bring valid points but his higher potential will make for higher demands on a long term contract.

what's your point?
- EricEngels

Just thought you could have mentioned the 2 games against NJD before they play the Bruins.

I don't mind Diaz but if he is going to get 3+M/yr, (frank) it, trade his ass at the deadline.

I don't think it's worth creating a hole on defense.

He's not my favorite player, far from it, but as long as Tinordi or Beaulieu can't take regular minutes in the NHL, can't afford to lose Diaz.

Funnier still, since it was called by the NON-French ref, and they still complained about it being unfair that the French ref called it.
