What is the story behind shingles? Is it if you had chickenpox you can get it? They give you valtrex for it. The blue herpe pill. Or at least my mom said she had shingles, maybe it was just a herpes flame up?

I've never had them but I fished with an old man once that called me a couple of months later and complaining that me leaving him to fish in the hot sun gave him shingles.
