Berube did a good just adjusting the dumb during the second intermission. I liked how they came out and attacked the net.
Read's goal was huge and overlooked by the "experts" on the NBC panel. Though Coots did deserve the lion's share of the spotlight tonight. |

I'm starting to warm up to Raffl ... he does play pretty well without the puck.
just wish he could hit the net occasionally. - FlyerGuy
I'm running the Raffl fan club and newsletter. Should I sign you up?
I just think he's got potential...I hope he turns into a real steal for the Flyers. |

hmmm good point... i hit that back button... what's the verb for that? reversed it.
doesn't have the same panache imo. - -davies-
Right, just messin' with ya. We all do it. I guess the technical term for going back and watching something digital is 'loading' it. Still, it's not nearly as good as Rewind. |

i don't need or expect a "steal" but a viable replacement for talbot would be nice
he had very strong shifts on the pk today, i no longer wish him to reappear back in austria. |

i can't make up my mind on him. by no means is he a liability which is good imo and he brings energy, hits, and some speed on his shifts.... but his offensive decision making is so suspect I just don't know yet. |

Berube might be the most even-keeled coach in team history. He makes Craig Ramsey look like Keenan

Agreed. I'm hoping his hands settle down a bit when he gets a little more comfortable in the NHL. |

they may. i dont see the skill in him to ever suddenly become a magician. but still, thatll never be his role anyway. sometimes effort and speed is enough to pot one |

As long as he continues to play a strong, smart defensive game, I'd allow him time to get his offense in gear.
He made a couple of nice moves toward the net tonight. I'm sure it'll happen soon. |

i had visiting feeds on the dish from 97 until 2003. 10 years of coatsey is enough. i'm moving to new mexico in about a month, so i'll be going back to alternate broadcasts. it's fine. |

you're a more patient person than i am then. 8 out of 10 away feeds make me want to injure someone. |

I would take the visiting feeds over Coatsey and company any day of the week.
he just dumbs down the broadcast too much to make it listenable.

i don't like 3 guys calling a game. it's too much. when the 3rd guy is a drunken buffoon, it's really too much. |

yeah ... and he used to be good on radio too, back in the day. His buffoonery added some pizazz. But on tv it's just ... idiocy. |

I don't mind our normal announcers. I just ignore Coatsey - like the bizarre drunk uncle at every family gathering. And I adore Clement.
The NBC announcers annoy me because they are always rooting for the other team.
And Pierre makes me flash to event horizon. I want to gouge my own eyes out... |

indeed. watching that or away feeds which are generally obnoxious is not pleasant. a few away feeds are okay but a lot of them stink. |
