He came on for a shift dropped his gloves and started pounding Roussell, got a shot in in him when he was down in the ice and Roussell kept his gloves on.

This team was likely taking a defenseman no matter where they landed, draftwise.

It got touched on just a second ago, but I agree with the sentiment: As much as I hate line juggling, the lines we typically have aren't going to get us back in this game.

I don't know what Chief's going to do, but moving a couple of guys around might help some, at least for the rest of the afternoon. The Benn line is just not containable by Couts' usual line, and we've got to get that under control if we want to pretend like we can steal a point

Fresh off a rousing comeback against the Wings, they were holding a playoff spot for a short while, AFTER starting the season 1-7. Don't give me the "Eastern Conference sucks!!!" bullpoop either because it doesn't matter how bad your conference sucks- a 1-7 start should not get you in to the playoffs unless a team does something remarkable. Which is what the Flyers are doing. Berube getting this team to hover around .500 is something I never thought would happen, but here we are. Right in the middle of the fight in the Eastern Conference.

But we have to save the disastrous season.
