It's a possiblity. Do you work for the flyers or something? - Just5
I cannot confirm or deny this, but I can say that Mason does not want to resign here because Downie's been getting frisky around Mason's girlfriend. |

Would be nice. For his size, speed, puck skills and shot he's definitely underperforming. He still gets beat along the boards and gets knocked off the puck more than he should IMO. |

He's been most compaired to Malkin and Lindros. I'd get over it real quick.
If I'm mad about anything it was the terrible draft board the Flyers had. - hereticpride
There's a hell of a difference between resembling Malkin/Lindros at times, and being Malkin/Lindros.
Just like we're all still waiting for Luke Schenn to play up to those Stevens/Foote comparisons, and live up to the widely held belief that he's a potential franchise player.
Hyperbole is king on draft day. |

Apparently 2013 was a hell of a draft year... no less than 4 Chris Prongers (Jones, Nurse, Morin, Ristolainen), a Malkin/Lindros at the #10 pick and Al MacInnis at #15. And yeah, MacKinnon is Crosby b/c there's something in the water up in Cole Harbor. |

We couldn't take the Malkin/Lindros pick. He sat on the board way longer than I thought he would though. |

And that, most likely, he won't score as many goals when he gets back. A shooting percentage of 18.4 is almost inevitably going to decrease |

The Vinny deal shouldn't have been more than 3 years. - Pixote Andolini
Then he would have signed somewhere else and the Flyers offense would be dead last in the league. |

Injuries happen randomly, and this back ailment is new, not part of a pattern.
Matt Read could fall into the boards awkwardly today, damage his shoulder and never be the same player again. That wouldn't make his contract bad. |

I like the Vinny signing. I hate the term. I will be ecstatic if he's still producing by the 3rd year of the deal. |
