So we lost the last game... that means we win today, right?! Well, that's good news. |

Just a tough night last night, the kick in goal, Staal's injury, another loss to the Devils, tough.
No matter the call on the Janssen goal, the RANGERS still had a 1 goal lead & plenty of time to make that a moot point. Hank was a little off last night. Lets just get back on track tonight & get the 2 points, as bad as last night was we got a losers point out of it, which was the first time such happened this yr. |

As I said in the last thread, we need to be more physical, the lack of hitting is pathetic, no intimidation at all on this Rangers team, even when Dorsett is playing. |

I responded, but Jan posted the Recap blog. So I'll post the response.
Kid Beach has some grit. Has a screw or two loose, but has some toughness. Mcilrath, needs to get called up. I was hesitant for the Rangers to call him up, but now that opinion of mine has changed.
4th line of Beach-Boyle-Dorsett. Pair Mcilrath iwth Moore or DZ. Scratch Pyatt, and put Pouliot on waivers. |

I just saw that Tom. Beach is a nutjob, but would be nice to see a little fear put back into the opposition. |

Idk what the answer is but the we can't be the only ones who see this. Having guys like Pouliot and Pyatt on the roster give the Rangers nothing. Pyatt has 1 point over his last 23 games. Pouliot has been so lazy that the team had to recall JT Miller, again. I don't understand. |

I've never been concussed. Can you tell that quickly if you've been concussed, assuming you know the symptoms? Assuming Staal was concussed, it seems crazy he knew it that quickly. |

What's crazy is that he skated off on his own, threw his helmet, can't be bad but he also played all that time after the 1st one, this organization is seriously cursed |

Boucher is a really small guy. You have to think Staal has been hit harder in every game he has played in, by much larger players and it's micro-mini Boucher that rings his bell. |

See I don't think it was that hard of a hit, kind of like the Stuart hit on Nash it was a just a direct blow to the jaw, if that linesman wasn't there he wouldn't have bounced back into Boucher
Has anyone from the Rangers given an update today? |

Nothing on twitter thus far. I don't know where to go for the inside scoop on Rangers happenings, so, no clue. |

Clearly he changed the direction his foot was going to direct the puck. He even looked down at to make sure he connected. Terrible call from Toronto. |

Dam it now a Devils fan is going to post the rule in it's entirety again..thanks!
On further review of the Staal hit the linesman had nothing to do with it, just another glancing blow that topples a Ranger player. |

Staal was leaning to try to play puck. Doesn't matter bud. Nothing is gonna change with this group of players. |

The one factor no one seems to be taking into consideration is that Cam can hardly stand in ice skates and had he actually attempted to kick the puck he would have broken his neck. |

Kreider and Miller threw their weight around several times but all in all the Rangers do lack enough physicality in their game right now. |

The hit was square to the chin. I was surprised there was no penalty call though I do believe Staal leaning forward reaching for the puck played a role in him getting hit high. Still, the league has been calling those plays on the ice so expected a two minute penalty. Boucher did seem to launch up and leave his skates on the play. That being said, because Staal put himself in the position he did, I don't think there will be nor should be any supplementary discipline. |

Pouliot in for Dominic Moore.
I don't mind that, Moore sucks. He was terrible last night. On for 3 goals against and played less than 10 minutes. |

I know I harp on it a lot, but you can see the lack of fear in the opposition when they play us. Janssen before all the other BS in this game skated real close to Hank at a stoppage & usually in that spot the defensemen comes & shoves away the opponent but there Janssen was the first to shove & had that look on his face like..."yea, do something, pfft." That has to change, we NEED Mcilrath up here. |

It's time to stop rolling 4 lines anyway...they need to start riding their top dogs. Might be their only chance to get on a roll. |
