Youre using the Isles board as a source?
Is this your first day here? - aecliptic
Nope I was using Hans as my source but someone else on the board said the same thing. That's 2 sources which= e4 I believe. |

BOG says 71M expected for next season cap. Well, looks like Richards may just stick around. And hanks extension could be very accommodating. |

No but it is certainly possible. But I warn you hes no upgrade over Miller. - mighty13duck
I know I'm preaching to
The choir but why in the name of
God send miller down and hang into the likes
Of Pyatt and Pouliot? I understand the need
For asham. |

So the Cap is going to be $71.1, why did they even have a lockout? |

It is. Floor is like 45 million. So the floor next year should between 50-52 million. |

It was the split, not the total. It's going up to 71M but the players aren't getting like 60% of it like they were. |

With the new CBA, teams like the isles will be getting a decent kickback from the top revenue teams. |

for me it is clear, if we want this team to really become a contender there is only one option and that is rebuild, and a serious one
players to keep: hank, Mcd, nash, kreider, stepan, hagelin
trades: girardi, brassard, callahan (because he will get a big return), MDZ etc.
get quality young players and high picks instead and infuse youth like kristo, hrivik, Mcilrath, skjei(next year?), miller
with some luck we even make the playoffs woth those young guys in this crappy division. the only difference will be a first round exit instead of MAYBE a second round exit. but with high draft pick and elite talent in a few years we will be able to be a contender and stepan, hagelin, kreider, nash will be able to support younger players which is great given the natural leader-ability of steps, will never actually happen dough

Morning all, be safe out there, got halfway up to Stamford from Merrick and turned back around as conditions were worsening with icing expected tonight. |

We all give Dorsett slack cause he never wins a fight and takes a stupid Penalty now and gain. But idk how we can criticize him over Pyatt and Pouliot. Hopefully this the last we see of them. |

Official word: Staal has a concussion, though not viewed as bad as before. What that means? Who knows, but as we have seen the impact of a concussion is cumulative, so even if minor, absence and impact moving forward could be significant |
