I don't think Kulikov will go over to Russia. He played junior hockey in North America, so it's not like he was drafted out of Russia. That being said, he and his agent may use the KHL as leverage, but any free agent can do that, whether they are from Russia or not.

of these I think the only one that probably has any credibility to it is the Gleason one (since that's been reported by a number of other sources as well)

Edmonton-Philly were also rumored in talks awhile back, and there may be something there. Not sure if it's quite the megadeal Ek is imagining though. (Particularly, Couterier's chances of being moved just went to zero I'd say since Lecavalier is injured. Similarly, Ek reported an Edler rumor just as Edler is injured for several weeks.... )

The only reason he is even on the block is because he has had a bad start to the year and he is one of the few guys we can get a somewhat decent return on. But I will say if he trade him we will regret it unless he get a big return which I don't see happening.

It's still very possible we don't move him because since his benching he has been playing better and if he keeps it up we won't trade him.

And also people really need to get over this KHL poop. Kulikov has never shown any want to play there. The only reason he even played there was because of the lockout.

Oh I saw it. If you watch it again, you can see Marchant snap his head back and drive it right into Neal's knee. He was trying to smash the knee cap for sure. Could be some residual patella damage as well. What a rat.
