Hartnell doesn't have to go anywhere he doesn't want to go and good luck finding anyone to pick up the remaining 5 years on his contract. Streit's contract and age are almost as good as a no trade clause. These guys will retire flyers several years from now and there' s nothing that can be done about it.

Idk, I think we could find a taker for Hartnell, even if we get less than desired value for him. And just cause he has a NTC doesn't mean he won't waive it. Chances are good that he won't but it doesn't instantly mean he can't be traded.

Imagine what the cap will be by then, though. My cncern is when you add Streit's buyout repercussion on top of that, it is a lot.

If the goaltender is out of the crease and gets bumped during what they call a "hockey play", similar to the one leading to Harnell's penalty, it should not be called.
