If I was Lavi I would hold out for that Nashville job as I think Trotz is going to be gone soon.

When Shanahan reviews the tape on the B. Schenn hit on Versteeg, can he also take a look at L. Schenn standing in front of the net with his thumb up his ass and suspend him too. - PLindbergh31
This actually pretty funny.
I missed it earlier... |

It's time for the GM to fire a shot across the bow. If there's not a trade to be had, simply waiving a guy and sending him to the AHL needs to be on the table. |

Agreed..
They tried the coach approach and things had been getting better but the new call smell is gone now and you see..
it's still the same bad collection of parts. |

I'd start with Meszaros. He's got no trade value, he's on an expiring contract and he's a disaster right now. |

I didn't see Berube's post game presser ... wondering if he reacted to his team's stupidity. |

you guys are going to have a hell of a lot of money freed up within a year or twos time. my only worry is what contracts are going to look like with the cap floor rising. going to be even wackier contracts for sure. ugh. |

doubtful. he put rosemont back on the ice after his dumb penalty which turned a 5 on 4, into a 5 on 3, and immediate goal by ex-flyer sharp. |

What do you think that would accomplish though? As has often been said, you can't fire (or waive) a whole team.

Screw that..the bigger issue to me was him putting Hartnell on the ice.. |

Berube took off his socks and shoes to count Hawks goals. He's not exactly the sharpest knife in the drawer.
Look at Rinaldos ice time since the disgrace he pulled in Dallas. |

At the very least, it says that if you don't play better, you'll be riding in buses instead of first class airline travel |

In his defense, they called up McGinn hours before the next game and he reported sick, so he might not even be able to play. |

The Flyers played their best game of the season tonight. A full 60 minute effort. Unfortunately the Hawks are just that much better. |
