I for one am sick of these Whigs and their constant blathering about Protectionism. We get it you need to restrict trade between the states to give domestically produced goods a chance to compete with imported goods blah blah blah.
Well let me tell you something! It's a globally free trading economy for me or nothing you oddly political party scumbags! - TheHype
Do you know what party took over the whig party and put an end to them? |

Athiest or agnostic? I always found the term "practicing Athiest" a bit weird. Believing in a lack of belief. I understand it, just always was a bit off to me. - jmatchett383
Naw, Ayn-baby was definitely an Atheist. She reviled and spoke out against god, charity, compassion, etc. According to her, every man was his own god. |

If you don't believe in god, and don't want to get caught up in a religion whose purpose is to not believe in god (which seems a little backwards), then just say you're not religious. - JAKEw1234
I'm agnostic. I'm PRETTY SURE that none of the major organized religions are even close to being right, yet I can't use any facts to completely rule out the existence of some all-powerful being. |

100% atheist. The biggest minority in the world is the individual. |

This is a hockey site. It is not a political site. There are plenty of places across the web where politics is the lingua franca. This is not one of them.
It is not a religious site. Again, find someplace called God or not god buzz.
Please, talk hockey. Or something even less likely to result in meaningless pedantic wall building.
Thank you. |

That's why I have a problem with hardcore atheists. I find that most hardcore atheists are as bad as hardcore Catholics (Souther Baptists are a whole different animal). I used to date an atheist, and her lack of openmindedness on the subject was infuriating.
"How can you prove that God doesn't exist in some way, shape, or form?"
"Because he doesn't." - jmatchett383
Agnostics are the ones who don't believe and leave everybody else alone.
Atheists are like reverse evangelicals... preach against religion. |

The Republicans after the Northern Whigs joined them and the Southern Whigs disbanded. Was this for extra credit? |

I agree.
Hockey to me is like politics of religion. The democracy in hockey and the republican order of the new CBA makes me an atheist towards Mr. Bettman.

Agnostics are open to the possibility of anything. Without irrefutable proof either way, it is impossible to be sure.

To clarify, ALL atheists are like reverse evangelicals? Agnostics can be pretty damn preachy too, imo.
But I'm not helping get this blog on track either now. |

I just hope he's closer to a (younger) Derian Hatcher type as opposed to an Andy Sutton type. |
