Agnostics are open to the possibility of anything. Without irrefutable proof either way, it is impossible to be sure.
Was Paul Kariya better than Theo Fleury? - jmatchett383
Production wise its pretty much a wash, maybe give fluery an edge because of being the more physical player. When karyia first came into the league i thought he was something special. |

Fleury also had some big problems with cocaine and alcohol and once left in the middle of a game because he got a penalty.
I always liked Kariya. If he didn't leave to chase a Cup in Colorado, he probably wins it with Anaheim. He had the best one-timed backhand ever. |

I just hope he's closer to a (younger) Derian Hatcher type as opposed to an Andy Sutton type. - jmatchett383
A faster hatcher would be a real nice player. I don't remember derian being to swift even when he was young. |

Most big guys aren't. Pronger was never a speedster either, though. Morin's definitely got a mean streak like Hatcher's. If he can match Derain's (or Kevin's) offensive production, I'd be thrilled. |

Fleury gets points for overcoming the abuse situation but if I had to pick one of the two to play on my team it'd be karyia. |

Yes, you are right. See the hippies that were teenagers in 1960 are now in power in the entertainment, educational, news, and politics. Isn't funny that now is when we are unable to keep these ridiculous notions like every kid gets an award, and no hitting in football or baseball, or the government for the first time in history telling you that you HAVE to buy something. How is it freedom when the governement trys to get involved in everything, because they think they know what is best for everyone. - youarewrong
Maybe you should move to a more conservative country. |

Can we get him lessons with the media? so he can put them on their heels like Pronger used to?
Man I loved that. |

Kevin had almost 700pts and that big 34 goal season. Derian really never came close to those numbers but was a scary guy to play against. I'd take a cross between them |

Derain was a solid 8G/20A type of guy who played in all situations and was one of the meanest players I've ever seen. One of the few players who was able to almost completely neutralize Lindros during his prime. |

Definitely was a great defenseman in his prime, I'd like more offense out of him but if he's going to be a true shut down defender I'll take it. |

This is a hockey site. It is not a political site. There are plenty of places across the web where politics is the lingua franca. This is not one of them.
It is not a religious site. Again, find someplace called God or not god buzz.
Please, talk hockey. Or something even less likely to result in meaningless pedantic wall building.
Thank you. - bodiva88

I was trying to think of a cross between them. Slapshot aside, Al Iafrate seems like a prime choice. |
