For a few months now a few of us have discussed an Edler to Philly deal. What do flyer fans think of Edler for Vorecek and McGinn? Is that fair? - Bieksa#3
Strictly speaking, I like Edler, as a player.
I'm not sure I want to give up Voracek to get him, but I like him. |

They showed the GI Joe thing. I don't have a problem if it was for that, but I really don't get the impression that's why that chant was occurring. Either way, I'm not losing sleep over it. Personally, I'm saving any patriotic chants for the Olympics, I want to see US gold. - BulliesPhan87
I hate having NHL players in the Olympics, but that doesn't stop me from watching it.

Like I said..."since he was acquired." And they played like a playoff team last year, after he was acquired. - jmatchett383
I think he was being sarcasmic. |

I guess I'm neutral on the pros in the Olympics. I'm too young to really have a preference based on experience. I'd just like to see our boys bring home some bragging rights. |

Voracek is our only top 6 winger who can really skate.
Edler for Simmonds seems more likely, or get Hartnell for a lot less. He would be great with the Sedins and I think he would waive to go to Vancouver. |

I prefer the WJC actually. I got up at 3 AM a lot last year to watch the games. This year, they're all "afternoon" games, so I'll miss all of the non-weekend games. I'm not really feeling Team USA this year. |

How do you tune in usually? Sounds like it might make for good work day viewing, I think the boss will allow as long as productivity doesn't drop. |

I like Rinaldo as well. Sometimes I wish he would remember that he can also get the puck after he hits the guy with the puck. Just don't like too many of those type of players eating up spots on the roster. I am sure it has been said here before but, when Chief rolls out Hall, Rinaldo, & Rosehill he is basically telling the other team that we will not even try to score a goal for the minutes they play. - fnmjoe13
agree. that is why I would rather throw a McGinn out there. I envy the 4th line of teams like Chicago and Boston |

The Schenn fine, which is a strange number, is the maximum allowable under the CBA without a suspension. #Flyers #NHL

They had all of the games on the NHL network last year because no one wants to watch an old episode of Oil Change at 3:30 AM. I don't know where they'll be available online. |

Did the NHL see Versteeg's numbers here in Philly?
He totally had that cross check coming to him. |

WJC. I just don't think they're nearly as good as last year or 2010. I think that USA Olympics will be in the medal hunt. |

Yeah, Vancouver would require a playmaker. Vorecek or couter. As for Hartnell, I'm not saying I hate him. I actually wouldn't mind him. But given his contract and declining numbers I wouldn't give much up for himb |

My friends have turned "Versteeg" into a noun, closely associated with a bait-and-switch. ex. "HA, YOU GOT VERSTEEGED!" |

I'd take David Booth and a 2nd round pick.

People get so worked up about cap hits, but in the next few years, the cap is going to skyrocket. Hartnells contract won't be as bad as people assume. |

I just dont see why you would have a problem with it at all. So what if people chant USA USA. I know it's no longer cool to show pride of country these days, but I'll take a 2x4 toteing Hacksaw Jim Duggan any day.... HOOOOOOOO! |

You still have to look at it as wasted cap space. How much better would your team be if that 5 mill player is playing up to that contract |

Thank you and Darn you to whomever posted that air hockey beer pong table... I have been surfing craigslist to buy a used table now, so I can make this for my brother.
Figure all I have to do is get PCP pipe that fits Red Solo cup, that way when you put the cup in the board, the cup rim isnt exposed. Just have to figure out how to cut the holes without damaging the board.
Cant be too hard.
My brother loves drinking game, and has a bunch of redneck games too. From Bear Pong, to Urban Horseshoes. They even throw annual drinking game competitions, although they might not happen this year, as the host has just deployed for a year in Afganistan. |
