McGinn's only played 18 NHL games and you know he's a physical player. Raffl's only played 20 games, and we know he's got great hands. Laughton's only played 5 NHL games and we know he's defensively responsible... It's just one of those things that's known about the player, like with McGinn and Raffl and Laughton. Multiple times he was on I saw him get back and play the backcheck, or fill in on the backcheck for the dman caught in the Ozone.

I would like the Flyers to play Gus the whole season. He is the only mobile defenseman they have. I know he makes some mistakes, but his skating and skill are sorely needed. I remember one sequence where his skating got the Flyers a 2 on 1. He missed the net with his shot, but there is no other defenseman on the team that would have created that opportunity.

Not when you just start hating on people because they're a Democrat or a Republican. We really need to stop these lunatics on TV and radio from driving political elections.

As a member of the media in a small way today, when I got into it I thought the media was supposed to keep both sides honest not take sides and dominate the election of officials.

Why is it we can see the agendas of people covering our favourite sport but so blindly buy into the rhetoric of these talking heads blaring at us every day and leading the nation like sheep into a hardline right and left?

Maybe because we watch our sport and have educated opinions so when someone in the media bends the truth or lies to us we can recognize it and even if we like them we can call them on it.

If I was in charge I'd bar the left and the right from the media unless they were able to balance their opinions. I certainly wouldn't put them on the radio and tv everyday for 2 to 4 hours and let them make themselves more influential than our elected representatives.

Democrates were opposed to the abolition of Slavery. Still are IMO. Just want us to be the slave of the government and poor these days.
