For someone who didn't watch...
Thoughts on a) the Flyers' play? Best players? Highlights? and b) The Schenn incident - Giroux_Is_God
Played solidly. Kept on attacking. Voracek had a great game. Raffl looked good again. Read had a good night...prior to getting boarded, Schenn looked good.
Wilson should get 5-7 games. He took about 4 strides before nailing Schenn head first into the wall.

a) solid overall, some sketchy D play. passion, solid hits and forechecking. best players were Simmonds and Raffle. highlights were some solid passing and plays between Raffle and simmer/G. Scoring twice on a 5 min major.
b) schenn put himself in tough position even after looking up and seeing the hit coming, turned a bit, but would have been a charge either way. Wilson came barreling in. result of the hit was pretty devastating. ugly looking |

Thanks bud now I know exactly what happened - Giroux_Is_God
It;s hard to say who was the best player. Almost everyone played well, so it's hard to pinpoint one guy. I'd have to go with Streit if I have to pick one. His snipe was amazing and he man handled OV on the backcheck. Those were two big highlights, for me. |

Good effort tonight ... It's either glass half full or half empty... Time will tell.. A few points out of the playoffs hopefully management doesn't poop the bed |

It was blindside, I don't think it was an elbow. He was just going really fast when he hit Schenn, and Schenn went really hard into the boards. |

No. Schenn was skating and turned, and Wilson just kept bearing down. He took several strides and clobbered Schenn about two feet off the boards. Schenn did turn a bit, but Wilson definitely took more than the legal two strides. |

schenn got cheapshotted by a dirt bag player - 2Real
Shenn did set himself up a bit by turning away at the last second but Wilson should have laid off the gas given the proximity to the boards. I hope Shenner is OK. Heck I hope he is in the lineup for the home and home vs. Columbus... 'specially since I'll be in C-bus on Saturday. Hate to see guys go down on borderline hits. |

i think schenn saw him coming at the last second and turned to try to avoid the hit. it's a natural reaction, rather than just stand there and get hammered. |

I'd like to see him get 15. But I'm being realistic. I could see as few as two, TBH. |

there's no logic or consistency from the league. i won't be shocked at all if he gets 2-4. |

schenn was buzzing before he got killed. i thought for sure he was going to score. and even without the goal i thought streit had a great game. raffl is somehow now the best passer on the team.
if wilson gets less than five i will be ticked off. |

I'd be content with 5 games. It was a reckless dangerous play...but as Hammar said, the Shanaban is inconsistent |

So for future reference, we have a solid example that Coburn can make a good breakout pass on the first Voracek goal. |
