I'm definitely not chanting that...but I think Vanek not too long after playing with the Isles already decided not to resign |

Well, looks like you guys are having the same issue we did. Although your team does (should) show a little more advancement in the rebuilding department than ours. Meh, we'll see. If he walks, just take a crowbar to Snow's knee. |

Jack Capuano tells the press room "It sucks." - Dee Karl
"I told him the Bolts would still win by three and they did."
No, they won by 1, in a shoot-out.
Not by 3. |

Also, I like Moulson. Like Vanner too. Still wear Van's jersey. Granted it's worth about 350 bones and it's signed but hey who's counting. I'd like to see either in blue and gold in 2014. |

I truly think opponents seem to just bank on the fact that they only have to pour on immense pressure for a 5 minute span in order to pull away with 2 points against the Islanders now...I mean who cares if the Islanders even get a point out of it?
You would think the coaching staff would be able to figure out this absolute nonsense with 2 goals in 3 minutes...3 goals in 5 minutes...etc...etc...etc...
I feel extremely sorry for John Tavares. I don't think any player could do more than what he's been doing.
I also would love for the post game interviews to stop. It's torturous to watch the players have to keep to a message and not freak out. It's a dream, but, imagine if Snow and Wang had to take post game interviews after each inexplicable collapse so they can field questions what they think is wrong. Their lack of communication to the fans is astounding. Maybe having to publicly own up to the failures might be enlightening that something has to change at this point...wait I know I know, the prospects are almost ready for the NHL...
On a positive note, I really think Okposo deserves the Olympic roster spot and he's really been fun to watch...

The Isles should definitely be further along...this season was completely short sighted by Snow...injuries are part of the game....the General Manager should make sure the roster has the right players and personnel to weather the injury bug when it INEVITABLY hits the team
The question I ask is if pissing this season away is excusable considering the promise of the prospects coming up? I personally think no organization should say "oh wait one more season and we'll be ok!" It's a horrible disservice to the fans that spend their hard earned money on tickets...You would like to see SOME sort of conviction after 7 years of rebuilding |

No worries.....the Icelanders seem like they haven't won a game since 1990 but they will face the Rangers soon. Of course we'll be the ones to lose to these bums and make that disorganization feel all good about themselves |

Wang is hiding, and garths silence speaks volumes. Again, i say, this is what you get with a Gm who had ZERO managing experience. The proof is in the pudding. In the beginning of garths tenure he hid behind the rebuild word, and the drafting. My opinion is hes failed overall being in year 6 and in last place. Somehow, his job is secure.
Last night was on fransy.....the giveaways are unforgivable |

okposo leaves it all on the ice.....loving his game.
bailey, and grabner both had breakaways, and im pretty sure bailey missed the net. somehow that line still gets 2nd line minutes. personally, i let strome/brock/clutter play those minutes.
not scoring on a 2 on 0 is worse than not scoring on a 5 on 3.......BRUTAL

I definitely agree. Milbury was on the opposite end of the spectrum being a loud mouthed idiot, but Snow is weirdly way too silent. They can say all they want that what is talked about remains within the organization, however, it's just complete lack of leadership to almost seemingly ignore the elephant in the room.
His silence definitely does speak volumes, because I guess he can't bad mouth a situation he 100% engineered. It's like politicians that don't come clean about a scandal...it's proven that the better route to take is to come clean, own up to the failures, and come up with strategies to move on. Otherwise this guessing game and madness will exponentially grow.
As far as Frans's play...anytime a player other than Tavares makes that backhanded, almost completely no look pass anywhere on the ice, they should lose their pay for that game. I don't care if it's in the defensive zone like last night, or offensive zone, it does NOT usually work out in anyone's favor. My blood boils just thinking about how many times that type of pass does not work out... |

Since the Vanek trade BUF has the better record but they have Miller in the nets and we had the rookies.
True two home losses but with Strome and Strait in the lineup we've played two solid games with disappointing outcomes. Maybe Cappy is right that they just need to keep working.
For MTL it was Pacioretty; and for TAM it was Filipulla, so the high priced players had to come through to beat us which only puts the onus on our top players to get the big late goals. |

1st sentence...vanek was injured and didnt play for a few games
2nd sentence...cappy is never right, and if him saying "they just need to keep working" is considered right, then im working way too hard!! |

Some stats from Staple's latest Newsday article:
* Islanders blowing 3rd period leads this season is at 25.7%
* 9 times in 35 games
* 4 of the 9 were 2 goal leads
* 8 of the 9 were at home, only 18 games played at home so far
Regardless of whether or not people think the talent is not there, they get leads...
I'm completely for changing the coach more than ever now...and not to an interim coach that's going to try a "fresh new approach". Bring in someone who has a system, sticks to it, and whips the flakes of the team into shape. |

Dude as a fellow Rangers fan to another, here's some advice:
We're in no position to insult any other hockey franchise. The Rangers are a disgrace as well. |
