These numbers if based on BMI would be poor samples to go with because the BMI in Canada is a Joke. If you put on muscle at the gym, you could be considered obese based on your weight vs height ratio. Don't get me wrong though, it is an epidemic in N.A. and the reason that Diabetes is almost surpassing Cancer and Heart disease as the biggest killer and most draining disease cost wise on our healthcare system. Completely preventable too.

It's fine that he likes Gazdic- despite his minimal contribution- but to insist that he's more worth keeping than Eberle, Schultz, or Yakupov is asinine as far as I'm concerned. There are hundreds of Gazdic's out there.

Although Gagner's defensive game is dreadful, it's hard to blame it solely on him. There has to be at least a little bit of support and this team doesn't have it. Yakupov is lazy defensively, so is Gagner, so is Just Schultz. If they are on the ice together, it's a goal...period.

Somehow someone has to get these young bucks to buy in. Who knows how to do that?

I also don't fully blame N. Schultz for the bad change. There were three guys along the wall and all they had to do was get the puck out of the zone....they failed.

Ironic that the pre-season message was accountability and compete level and this Oilers team is perhaps the worst ever at both.

The downward spiral will likely continue until an Yzerman/Messier/Bourque/Clarke type captain arrives.

nobody is untouchable. if a team offers a drastic overpayment that improves edm, you take it and run. otherwise for now, i'd only build around hall.
