Olli's are usually a flash in the pan. He might settle into a long career with a couple good season's but that's the upside on an Olli. I wouldn't hold my breath

In a few year's time, the Penguins and Flyers will decide a playoff spot via a shootout in Game 82. The Penguins will have their franchise goalie and the Flyers will have their backup in net. After the first 5 shooters, the score will stand 2-1 Flyers, and the Penguins will send out Olli "what a poopty beard" Maatta. Maata will come in and kinda shove a weak backhand at the Flyers backup's 5-hole.

So, what i'm saying is, 50/50 shot he scores.

Not until he becomes team captain, we acquire a more veteran leader (Weber?) who we prefer as Captain, have a trip to the SCF, have a scandal about him and his best friend drinking, and he has a falling out with the local media. THEN he will be traded.

Very little reason why this team shouldn't possess the eighth seed in the east and finally above 500. by the time this evening is through. I for one am fully confident that they can do it. With the Wings and Leafs spiraling out of control, I think believe tonight is an important game/win that sees this team stay in the playoff hunt and never look back. Worst case scenario, we lose and the Sens win and we stay in 9th but with the Canes facing off against the Caps tomorrow still gives us a chance to take 8th Saturday. I believe staying in the top eight in the conference begins tonight.
