I must have missed something on the Streit penalty then because he had his stick between his legs for a few seconds ..looked like a trip to me.

If the ref wants to call every little thing, fine, but call it consistently both ways. Its the inconsistency that drives players and coaches nuts.

It was a battle on the boards, the puck was gone...and then the guy tries to cross over and steps through Streit's stick, which he had extended because of the board battle -- it was a bad call, in my book.

Could be worse. You had to expect the Jackets to be fired up after the way they lost Thursday. Getting out of the 1st down one is far from a disaster. Come out and get a quick one to start the 2nd and the pressure goes right back on Columbus!
