Alright boys, big game tonight. We can either pull back above .500, and work to build our record from there, or slip back below .500 and continue our repeated struggles to get over that hump. I guess we could also lose in overtime and really not go either way, but still an important game. I like the competition for pick position idea. The moment a team can no longer possibly make the playoffs, they enter a new point standings. From that point any points they get for the rest of the regular season are counted there, and at the end of the season, the team with the most points in this draft bracket wins the 1st pick, the team with the 2nd most points gets the 2nd pick, etc. So Florida gets eliminated with 10 games left, and Edmonton with 8 games left. In their last 10 games, Florida gets 15 points, and Edmonton gets 16 points in their last 8. Edmonton wins the 1st overall pick, and Florida the 2nd.
