good, then take Kadri - bobbyisno1
Why would want to trade Kadri? Already a solid 2nd line center at the age of 23? I mean of course you'd move him for good value deal, but he's far from the problem IMO. |

We've got some really weird fans who just like to poop on all the players if they aren't scoring at a Stamkos pace. |

Ya, and the idea that his attitude is a problem? If any of those guys are affected by the attitude of a 23 year old kid they are poons anyway. If anything one of the older guys need to give him a smack if he's being a dink. |

It is laughable to me, and some others. Look at the points Franson is putting up compared to Kesler, yet I would agree that trading one for one would be laughable. It seems we've seen the best from Edler, but the best from JVR is yet to come. Again, you're not factoring the age of the players and their contracts as well. Those things have to be considered. - systemtool
The contracts are quite similar. Age isn't much of an issue neither and I would disagree that we've yet to see the best from Edler. I sure as hell hope JVR has more than a 40 pt season in him. |

Oh no, of course not. Just dismiss them.
No, JVR doesn't have a 40 pt season in him. He's only going to score 11 points in his next 43 or so games.
Seems like we're both argueing over who gets JVR and who has to get stuck with Edler. Seems like a laughable trade to me. You're trying to sell your guy to us. We're trying to keep our guy. Could anything be more obvious? |

Beyond that, he goes to the net, screens the goalie on lots of goals he doesn't get a point on. |

I'm not. I no longer see a reason for the Canucks to trade a Dman with the cap rising. Just saying it's not laughable. |

Sigh
I tried to make a reasonable post. Why the (frank) would I try to sell anything? No one here has the ability to make trades. - Nucker101
I dont believe he once said "sell" or that anyone here could make trades. He's talking about the notion of such a trade and the sum of the parts involved. That is, whats going on, isn't it?
We find it laughable and you find our amusement insulting to your opinion so you have to try and justify why we shouldn't have a different opinion than the one you believe in. |

It's very laughable.
It's also laughable that you're positioning him as a 40-50pt dman. He's only hit that mark twice in his professional career....his average is in the 30s.

I didn't see your original post...but mentioning Edler for JVR in the same breath is anything but reasonable.
I've read a few moronic posts now stating Edler is a 40-50pt dman...he's not...not even close.

Right, but it's not laughable to suggest JVR is a 70pt forward since he's never hit it. You guys are too much, the guy is on pace for less than 60 but laugh all ya want. |

Great hair. If only hair could score goals and keep the puck out of the net. I remember I was playing little league baseball at Don Mills and York Mills the day the Leafs drafted him. |

Fine, whatever. Hes a 60 point player. Great.
He is still far more valuable and far more talented the Edler. JVR is 23 or 24, it's okay if he hasn't hit 70 yet. Watching him, night in and night out, there is no doubt he will hit that mark by the time he is Edlers age 2-3 years from now. |

I didn't make a claim that JVR is a 70pt forward...but you did make a claim that Edler was a 40-50pt dman.
Don't get your panties in a bunch because you got fact checked. Edler is no more than a 30pt (at best) dman....and his dzone coverage is suspect at best.
I personally wouldn't want him in blue and white for the poop I had this morning. |

No, you're definitely entitled to your opinions. Looks like we'll have to agree it disagree, not a big deal at all.
I was simply just stating my own opinion and backing it up with actual facts. Again, the whole topic is pretty pointless but I'm just here to kill some time like you guys so I thought I'd comment. |

It's fine. Fan bases often over value their players so it's really not shocking for either side, is it?
Im bored as hell too. Can't wait for game time...Ill probably regret it once that time finally gets here... |
