It's fine. Fan bases often over value their players so it's really not shocking for either side, is it?
Im bored as hell too. Can't wait for game time...Ill probably regret it once that time finally gets here... - systemtool

No, you're definitely entitled to your opinions. Looks like we'll have to agree it disagree, not a big deal at all.
I was simply just stating my own opinion and backing it up with actual facts. Again, the whole topic is pretty pointless but I'm just here to kill some time like you guys so I thought I'd comment. - Nucker101

Do you honestly believe Edler is better than JVR?
Seriously...without being a troll for a second...who would you rather have on your team? |

I didn't make a claim that JVR is a 70pt forward...but you did make a claim that Edler was a 40-50pt dman.
Don't get your panties in a bunch because you got fact checked. Edler is no more than a 30pt (at best) dman....and his dzone coverage is suspect at best.
I personally wouldn't want him in blue and white for the poop I had this morning. - Pen15
Hmm, recent history suggests otherwise. Maybe you should go and recheck your fact. Funny when discussing a Leaf player we'll use what one might achieve some day but when it's a player of another team we'll use the lowest of his totals.
You probably should stop laughing at others. |

Why would want to trade Kadri? Already a solid 2nd line center at the age of 23? I mean of course you'd move him for good value deal, but he's far from the problem IMO. - Nucker101
i'd want to trade Kadri to get better defensively, which is the problem |

Against the Canes? Leafs should have their way with them. Nucks play the Flames, those games used to be fun back when the Flames were a playoff team with Iggy still in his prime, lately they've been snoozers. I might miss the 2nd half of the game because the gf wants to go out for dinner. |

I'll take the Dman that contributes 25 minutes a night and doesn't have to be on the scoresheet to be effective. |

Doubt it. Righty, leader on the team, NTC and brings the toughness for the team on the back end. Funny thing is that he used to be like Edler when he was coming off the severed tendons injury, every Canuck fan wanted him traded for a forward. |

...Neither does JVR.
Not arguing either way. But JVR does things that dont show up on a stats sheet.

Good. Keep him.
We'll take the forward who is better and laugh at the notion of the guy coming back in return.
Everyone wins. |

All it takes is hard work, not talent, to beat the Leafs these days. On the odd day the Leafs show up and work hard, they're flying all over the place and moving the puck effectively. Teams cant catch them and keep up so they draw alot of penalties and actually win games. |

The last time Edler surpassed 40pts was in 2011...the time before that was in 2009. That's not recent...not even close.
And when you take a step back and look at his career totals, it's 2 years out of 8. Last time I checked that's not how you'd define a 40-50pt dman...hence why it's laughable.
Regarding JVR, again...show me where I claimed he was a 70pt man. I simply fact checked your nonsense and it didn't 'check out'. Don't get mad you got called on it....just move on.
The simple fact that you're unable to answer my simple questions (would you rather have edler or jvr on your team) shows me you're just here to stir the pot. |

What? He was on pace for over 40 last season and over 50 in 2010.
JVR has never even gone over 40.
Thanks for playing. |

Seriously though, Edler for Gagner. Would you do that? You guys need help up front, down the middle, no? |

You do realize that if you are going to determine one players ability based on the pace they were on, it is only logical to determine the other players ability by the same means?

Gagner sucks(worse than Edler). He's a tweener IMO, he'll be a #2 center for his career, but not on good teams unless he's playing on a line stacked with very good wingers. He can't win faceoffs and sucks defensively, doesn't produce enough to be worth sucking at those 2 things. |

So on pace only works for Edler...wow, impressive.
I think you stole the quarter before you let anyone actually play the game. |
