I don't think goaltending stole the win last night. - burn
no it didn't, but at least he didn't let in a crappy goal to let the canes back into it, which is what he's been guilty of for the last month. |

Dreger "Gunnarsson hasn't been as good. What's going to happen contractually with Franson? Ranger is coming into his own of late"
He was a (frank)ing healthy scratch for a week, is that "his own?"
God Dreger has been going downhill these past few years.
And yes last night was probably his best in a Leaf uniform thus far. |

as long as we can count on him for 1 good game every 30 or 40 I think the Leafs will be ok |

you know.... it's such an absolute joke anymore... i can't even listen to the radio, the intermission's, sportscentre or the other one.... it's just negative after negative... yet as someone pointed out, the panthers are awesomeness because they are first in the league in win% when leading after 2. oh, and the flames are awesome, in fact anyone not named toronto is awesome...
i think it was millen last night "the leafs haven't won in regulation in 19 games" ok.. but they have 8 of 10 pts in last 5 games...
and the wings, the greatest team on earth are 5-6-2 in december with 2 of those wins not in regulation. pretty much the identical record as us... but they are AWESSSSOMEEEE. they lost 4 in a row in october, 7 in a row in Nov. and 6 in a row in dec.. AWESSSSOMEEE!! |

Anyone know if TSN will stream the WJC game? or if there is another feed readily available? I am at work this morning and was hoping to catch at least some of the game if I can. |

good question... not sure if they are willing to commit to taking a 2.5hr break on trashing the leafs and the imminent signing of Phaneuf.
that's a pretty big commitment. |

Nice.
Still don't have a lot of faith in this team this year; goaltending seems a bit suspect and SWE looks like they could beat anyone all day long. |

Not so sure Bernier's efforts should be marginalized; that's a lot of shots from prime real estate last night:

I am sure they can squeeze some mentions about being outplayed and outshot, or take some shots at Gautier's level of play or something to keep the mandated Leaf bashing quota intact. |

That's only because they didn't play Fucale in the last 2 games. |

Canada is. I'm just a little tired of the massive overhype around this tourny every year.
