NJ team defense is day and night better - Bieksa#3
Maybe.
Overall, I'd say they're pretty close. TB can score enough to win games though.
In a few years the only time Bishop's name will be mentioned is in Jim Carey-like jokes.

There are no guarantees that Schneider's going to be some kind of stud in this league. Quite a big difference between being a backup or starting 30 games in a season and having to carry the load for 60+ games a year. |

Stuart replying to my post on the TB board thinks Bishop should be on Team USA over Schneider.
Ridiculous - Fosco
This is comical. Are you really so insecure about your point of view that you have to come back here for reassurance?
You don't consider Bishop a starter? A flash in the pan? People said the same thing when he was in Ottawa. Oh, he wouldn't be able to play well outside of Paul MacLean's system. The guy has 20 wins this season on a team that gives the puck up at its blue line more than I blink. That ties Schneider's career high in wins.
Nowhere did I say that Bishop is a better goaltender than Cory Schneider, as you implied back in the TB thread. I said he's playing better hockey right now, and that it's not even close. |

I had visions of their fans sitting in front of a tv (like the Leaf fans vs Boston last year) with cheers turning into absolute disappointment. |

And I totally understand that. Like I said on the TB thread, I could understand Schneider over Bishop. I can't understand Howard over Schneider or Bishop. I take exception to Fosco's assertion that my desire to have Bishop on that team over Schneider is "ridiculous." |

Or anywhere in the AFC. Besides a Eagles win today leaves them ahead of Arz. |

Dude, the Cards played the Seahawks and 49ers twice. And a Cards tie today puts them ahead of the Eagles. |

Settle the (frank) down, Stuart.
I posted it in here because I thought it was funny, and I wanted the opinion of the posters in this board.
I posted that it was ridiculous that they chose Howard over Schneider, and you said that it was more ridiculous that they chose him over Bishop—does that not mean you think he's a better candidate?
And way to take a hockey discussion and throw in a personal comment
