Except that I ve been making this joke for as long as I ve been the ref for the oilers including doing it in the oilers thread so I'm not sure what you caught me doing.

Edit: I was made ref to get rid of the trolls not cause of my favourite team FYI.

Fosco, a top pairing D is overpayment for a 2nd line winger. It's really not even close. The real discussion begins at wether Edler returns to top pairing form and if JVR can become a top line winger.

The usual passive/aggressive tactics. Make a few friends on another teams threads. Spend all of your time on an opposing teams threads. No pattern here.

Agreed.

I'm considering Edler more of a 2/3, though, so that top-pairing part hinges on whether he does return to form.

JVR is also trending up, so could end up a top-liner eventually.

Still, the original proposal was well within reason even if it would need some additions.
