Yeah, playoffs might be a different matter for Tommy. Doesn't really skate very that well. - golfingsince
Really? I think considering he's a 4th line tough guy that he's a fantastic skater. Him and weise actually |

His first 2 or 3 steps aren't fast, he's fast for his size when he gets going. - Nucker101
That's a big problem in your own zone. |

For his role he skates well, but his role isn't really required come playoff time. |

He always looks so slow. He also seemed way out of shape at the start of the season. - golfingsince
perhaps he was out of shape ... he does seem a bit bigger than when he was on the Flyers. |

Yeah, a legit contender doesn't have both as regulars on their 4th line.
If the Canucks can get a top-6er or two, and shuffle guys down the lineup, they could have a good 4th line, with some solid depth in case of injury. |

Put Weber on the PP with Garrison, so both points are a threat. |

Agreed. Richardson is a perfect 4LC, Santo would be awesome as a third liner, people hate Booth for his horrible contract but when he's on he's not bad at all. Hansen and Higgins are awesome third line wingers. |

If he doesn't have to fight Dale W is a great 4th liner. Forechecks, can skate like the wind and can even do a decent job of killing penalties. The problem comes when he's expect to fill the enforcer role. Dude is out of control and can't fight |

Weber on the left point, Garrison on the right. It's really simple, I bet Weber would score a ton of goals. The guy just seems to hit the net. |

Hey, I've been defending Weise on this board for a couple years, but if you look at the 4th lines of BOS, CHI, and LA, they're better than a 4th line with both Weise AND Sestito on it.
Both are still fairly young, though, which is why Gillis signed Sestito to a two-year deal and will likely try to retain Weise when he's an RFA this summer. |

People are too picky. 4th liners are so fickle. When the devils made their run 2 seasons ago their 4th line was dominating. 2 waiver cast offs and a career ahler. None of them really tough or mean or great with puck possesion |
