I personally can't stand watching the shootout winner the Sidney Crosby scores against the Buffalo Sabres over and over again after every Winter Classic. It wasn't that great. In fact it wasn't great at all. It's going to be the same thing with the Olympics this year and the shootout winner of the Dead Sidney Crosby had there for years ago. I'm sick of that kid being shoved down my throat.

Pretty much.

The shootout is current, those memories aren't.

It just sounds like a lot of energy to dislike something that's been around for awhile now. I don't waste a lot of energy hating those memories because they only come up a couple times a year. The Olympics shootout replay of Sidney Crosby scoring that goal only happens when the Olympics are talked about.

Guess Blake Wheeler was just too damn impressive

happy new years, fellow flyers flans. i missed the game last night, but it seems like it was never in doubt. they have a long way to go, but i have to admit that i'm impressed by the general overall long-term rally the club has made after such a horrendous start. climbed to .500 and danced around it for awhile and are now forging ahead. great end to 2013, let's hope that it continues....
