The goalies' water bottles are freezing

yes pierre i'm going to pay attention to frozen water bottles

finally feel good about watching the games, there def more consistent as a team then I have seen in a very long time, maybe because we finally have stable goaltending

however I am very worried about our dmen in our zone, a well skilled team will cap out against us everytime ie pens, chi....

that being said I wonder how or if homer will try and upgrade our d sooner then later, mostly needed imo is a solid 3-4 guy because mezzy has been worse then I could imagine he would be and even when gusty is healthy I still feel we need another guy.

It's nice to see the guys who were underachieving all season, playing well now. Hartnell is finally winning board battles and going hard to the net. Even on the disallowed goal, I loved Hartnell's net drive.

Streit is also providing some offense on the back end. He's the only guy who can get shots through from the point. It's so important for him to just shoot. If he's scoring, it's easier to accept his average defensive play.

I'd like to see the players find some consistency. We don't need Giroux to be a 2 ppg player, but he can't have those bad stretches where he doesn't score for 10 games. Couturier has been our only consistent player. Timonen has been pretty good since the first 10 games or so.

They always find a way of getting signed before FA. WIth the cap going up, the cost for these guys is going to be sky high. I'd like to see a mid-level addition. Stay in the $4M range. I don't want to see 5 years $35M for Pitkanen

I agree though. But I think these guys are rounding into form. They've been impressive since Christmas. Not dominating games per se, but you know what? I think more importantly we're seeing a team with emotion and a team that can COME BACK.

We've sung the chorus- good teams can face adversity. This team has done a good job with that of late. Hopefully they keep it up.
