We are well aware of how good Dion is. There's a reason why that contract has taken heavy critisism from all teams.

Now since he's the 2nd highest paid defender from Canada, do u think he'll make the team? Its a better contract then Clarkson's but its still awful.

No argument. Dion Phaneuf is the greatest defenseman in the history of the NHL. It is safe to say that no one will ever come close to his talent. It is a shame that he can only play for one team, he really should be allowed to suit up for all of the Canadian franchises. If he played for the Canucks they wouldn't need any other defensemen because Dion is so super awesome.
