Absolutely greatest dog such a baby though. Doesn't realize how big he is.

My Norwegein Elkhound challanges that. (frank) everywhere I take him people say how god damn great he is. And he so knows it to. They will talk about him and the tail tightens right up, chest out.

Not like a mastiff is a mastiff. Only dangerous if your a sock or a treat. I'm not 18
- Yeti1181

They are a nice looking dog, much better than pit bulls. I still wouldn't want them around kids. Same for all big dogs I guess...

Go have a drink and a puff the thread is dead until the game starts.
- A_SteamingLombardi

Just going to do that.
Missing the game tonight, dinner at the sister in-laws which probably means Vancouver will play their strongest game of the season.

I'm thinking about getting a bigger dog but still not sure. Its harder to find a sitter when we travel. I don't like nor trust kennels.

I like Mastiffs big baby's, great with kids and don't need as much exercise as some breeds. Would love a brindle.

Kids run up to them at eye level... Dogs get scared and snip. Big dogs snip can be scary on a kid.

I saw a mastiff Dane cross, gorgeous dog.

I agree, but on the flip side people need to do a better job of teaching their kids to be careful with dogs.
I actually find little dogs worse for being nice and then biting somebody out of no where

Part of the reason for that is people treat big and small dogs different when in reality to the dogs that means absolutely nothing. People let small dogs jump on them which is dominance then the big dog does it and people freak out.

this..

penny's apricot. an absolute effin beaut.

she couldn't hurt a fly and loves kids.

I suppose when she was just a puppy she got a little excited around them and didn't know her own size and frightened one or two. she knew something was wrong immediately and that was easily and quickly corrected.
the neighbours kids knock on my door all the time begging to hang with penny
