I turned it on and within two minutes we were down 2-0 so I shut the (frank)er off |

That happens with all teams, secondary scoring is so important! The Kings know what that's all about in that their fourth and third line guys like Dwight King, Jordan Nolan, Jarret Stoll & Tyler Toffoli all need to contribute for them to have success.
We're always saying we need more depth on the bottom six and then when we get it, we complain the top six guys aren't scoring enough? - LeftCoaster

I think we beat Russia. I don't know why anybody is shocked. Once again the Canadian tending has been pathetic. The game against the Americans is the only game we got even average tending and it still wasnt very good.
Of what I seen in the Round Robin, the Swedish division was far supiorior. |

I agree that it is important to have the bottom six going but our top 6 takes too many vacations also
I like what Sestito has been bringing as of late - VANTEL
Just for comparison, top five scorers on Western Conf top teams.
Chicago - 54, 45, 43, 42, 35. Cup winning team!
Anaheim - 47, 43, 28, 26, 25.
St. Louis - 38, 35, 31, 30, 29.
San Jose - 46, 39, 38, 33, 25.
Colorado - 37, 29, 28, 25, 24.
Los Angeles - 38, 28, 25, 24, 22.
Vancouver - 35, 35, 27, 27, 23.
Our top guys are holding their own against the 5-8 seeds in the Conference, that said, we're clearly missing (which I've said all year) another true top six forward. |

I expected more from Horvat this tournament. Shutter isn't using him well, but he's been quiet when he's been out there. |

He's been put in more of a defensive role, at the beginning he was used as an offensive player. |

Same for Sam Reinhart. Sutter has continuely put him in the best situations with rather average results. Ekblad has probably been Canada's best defense man from start to finish in this tourny. Laughton and Lazer have played well. I guess the other thing we have to consider is Canada is awfully young. 2/3 of the team will be back next yr. And any team that gets the tending Canada has will never win |
