If we do anything with that pick other than package it with another asset or two for real, genuine NHL level defensive help I won't watch or attend any games next year. I really think Ebs should be available for the right thing too. I love the guy but they need something other than what he brings.

Meszaros sucks, is Philly still right up against the cap? If we're taking that camp dump for this year, I want them to add in a pick/prospect on top of Schenn. Having 8+ million tied up in Mez/Booth this year would make me sick. But I wouldn't be against a Schenn-Edler deal.

Exactly. You give to get. Makes me shake my head when Iggy and the rest of the mouth breathers say how untouchable all these players are. Might Ebs/Nuge/Hall/yaks have a great career some place else? Maybe, but if u can get a player that helps you in another needed less flashy area then you consider that trade
