Oilers fans need to accept that sometimes you need to lose a trade a little to get the piece(s) that your team needs.

Totally agree.

That only works for him though - no other player experiences the same thing

Exactly your learning. No you dolt I was just commenting he's been player better lately

Meszaros sucks, is Philly still right up against the cap? If we're taking that camp dump for this year, I want them to add in a pick/prospect on top of Schenn. Having 8+ million tied up in Mez/Booth this year would make me sick. But I wouldn't be against a Schenn-Edler deal.
- Nucker101

Mez is a UFA next year, that would give them some space as they're up against the cap and Mez could be a depth dman for us. If he doesn't play big minutes he's not that bad.

A guy in there yesterday said Kessel + JVR would land Tavares and instantly make the Isles a much better team. I gave up trying to reason with him after about 3 pages.
- TheTaoOfSemenko

Its fair to say every fanbase overvakues their players a bit but Toronto fans are in a different class without question

And those lowly Kings, Hawks, Blues, Ducks, Sharks, etc. Lucky us.

I'd like the great challenge of playing the Sabres, Canes, Panthers, Devils, Isles, etc .

- Nucker101

Devils have an all star goali that would take a first round pick, top 6 forward and top prospect to require

Yeah, I wouldn't hate that trade, but getting back a pick/prospect would make me feel better about it.

One of your sidekicks was just here. Apparently Gardiner would currently be our #1 d man

Guy has trouble staying in Toronto's rather weak top 6 but would be our #1 . Do leaf fans have a different setting on their TVs then everybody else or something

I'd like to know how two all star wouldn't help the isles over 1 all star

Pfft, he didn't even make the Olympic team. Luongo>Schneider. Lack will be Sweden's starter according to my dear friend Scooby's sources so that means Lack>Lu>Schneider.

I'd like to know how somebody with an IQ exceeding 3 could think Gardiner would currently be Vancouver #1 d man.
And btw when has JVR been an All Star?

And to answer you question. Kessel and JVR make 12.25 mill next season

Tavaras makes 5.5 mil. Add Vanek at around 7 mill.

I thought he was the year before. But he's an all star calibre player.

Look at the guys name that should give you a clue.

Burkie Dogs come with extra rat turds, it's a well known fact that over consumption of rat turds retards mental growth.

Same cap hit for both and vanek hasn't done much since going to the island.
