Agreed. I like Lack but if Lu will be our guy forevermore then Lack is trade bait.

That's ok, I've still got Reimer, Anderson, Lindback and Khudobin. I think I've got a player coming off the IR soon, so just in time to switch roster spots

Sure, I sent you an offer earlier, but then Nabakov got hurt so I cancelled. Who would you want? I had a look at your team, not much there...

Agreed if it's an either or situation that Wheeler is the guy but I get the feeling the Jets have been stuck in mediocrity long enough that they could be tempted by the right off. Edler + Jensen + 2014 1st would be my opening offer for the pair of them. I'd also pony up up Tanev if they bargained harder.

Hansen might have some value to the Jets, since they're not exactly in great shape on F either.

Slightly offsets the loss of Wheeler, with another young, versatile—although less offensive—winger signed to a very affordable contract.

Pretty sure Hansen's wife is also from WPG.

Might get it done. It's a solid package, IMO, but it all depends on what other teams are offering.

Gotta think they'd like a 1st in there somewhere, if they've resigned to rebuilding.

EDIT: Would love to find a way to keep Tanev.

WPG already have 3 RHD in their top4, so they might not be as interested in adding another.

Truth is so would I . We are a 7 th place team in the West. I also think we could not beat Bos TB Pitt Phi or NYR in a 7 game series . That puts us in around 10 to 12 spot. If we are in that range we should be selling older assets for prospects and picks.

Santorelli does not have NTC and I am not sure if he is part of the future.

Hansen Santo and ? Could also work

Santorelli was with the Jets last season, all they had to do was extend him.

I don't see Edler giving up his NTC for the Peg

A few more Torts finger pokes and ream outs on the bench could fix that!

I think they should lock up Santorelli for a couple years at a reasonable hit, if they're able. Great bottom-6 C/W who can jump into the top 6 in a pinch.

Also, as golfing mentioned, WPG has already tried Santorelli and moved on, although he has played better since, as you said.

There are definitely some pieces to put a package together, though.

From that list I'd start with the Rags and Flyers.

Love to get Santorelli locked up, PERFECT third line center or a tweener. That makes one of Higgins or Hansen redundant though, so package Hansen with Edler - good value for a return there.

Rags maybe . Flyers would wear us down with the bigger stronger team. They are moving up rapidly now
