I just don't get the love in with Couture. At all. He's not an elite player at this point in his career. He's not even the best player on his team.

I think both should be there but they are both without question bubble guys who even if they go see little to no ice time.

I'm saying that he's not as good as people think and if he played on a bad team and only had 35 points in 43 games people would laugh at you for the idea. Guys with comparable totals are Eric Staal and David Perron and Bryan Little. Kyle Turris and Clarke MacArthur aren't far off.

Oh please nothing. Couture was one of the top rookies in the league, has excellent hockey sense & 9 times out of 10 he's on the way to the puck before it even gets to where it's headed. The only reason he isn't higher in the scoring race is that he has hit about 20 posts/crossbars this season.

he's alot of the reason I jumped on their bandwagon the year the oilers beat them in 06. theyve kinda been the team Ive pulled for as Ive had nobody to cheer for in the playoffs for years now.

He kind of takes me as a Geoff Courtnall. Just goes completely invisable for periods. This is my main dislike with Kessel as well.

I think most of us can agree that he's a GREAT player.
ive been watching him for awhile, but that destruction of Vancouver last year was pretty nuts. he was brilliant.

we'll see if stevie y agrees or not.
