Giordano sucks. I'd rather take Phaneuf.

He is one hit away from leveling that playing field.
- Jeropotato

I hope not. I could give to poops about any other team in the NHL but the NHL wouldn't be the same without him. Most important player for the NHL.

Nash had 2 goals and 3 assists in 7 games in 2010. Not saying he should be there but considering the top scorers for Canada had 7 pts I think you're being hateful.
- golfingsince

it's constant bravado and definitive statements with him.

couture is a scrub
nash sucks
Giordano sucks

yeah, no

Im a Habs fan, but I would go back to Luongo if he's healthy. He has proven to win the gold before, went to game 7 of the SCF, and having a pretty good year. Or maybe I just want Price to rest for two weeks

Price has been better so far this year though. I don't think he will screw up with that all-star defense core. People are talking like Canada has this huge weakness in goal. Im comfortable with both. Mike Smith too

- HabsRUs

i'd hold my breath on mike smith unless it's tippett coaching the d-core and implementing his system for team canada.

Is Crosby really the best player in the world because he needs Kunitz to play with him, yet if you ask anyone who has Kunitz on the team they say that Kunitz gets it done without Crosby. So ifCrosby needs Kunitz and Kunitz is fine by himself. Who is really the best player in the world?

I think the answer is clear

I'm comfortable because of our defense. But if it were a shooting gallery the advantage goes to USA and Sweden. Russia has (frank) all as does the Fins with Rinne hurt. Fortunately I don't see it that way. One thing I'm not seeing is the toughness as we had in Vancouver. Bigger ice, I suppose, but watch the first period of Canada/Russia 2010 again. Kicked the poop out them Ruskies.
- Jeropotato

Yeah I think Canada will go with more speed in this tournament. I noticed that you said the Fins had (frank) all without Rinne. Hes a big loss for sure, but I would think that the Fins start Rask, even if Rinne was healthy.

I love the fact they tell others they need to watch more hockey, but will have 5 Pens and Jordan Staal on Team Canada.

Um you are wrong. Luongo has it until he screws up. If he does...
- Scooby_Doo

Yet to be determined if I am wrong.

Price is my gut feeling.

At the same time I trust Luongo. No issue at all if he gets the net to start

SuperHenderson suggested Thornton was too slow for the big ice, yet is fine with Orpik playing for US since him and Martin are an elite shutdown pairing. I'm pretty sure Jumbo Joe skates circles around Orpik.

Crosby would be nothing without kunitz. Crosby was as bad as Yak before Kunitz came to the Pens. What a joke, where was Kunitz when Crosby won Gold and the Stanley cup? Would Kunitz be on team Canada without Crosby I think not, but Crosby would be there without Kunitz

I think RNH should make the Team.If he is surrounded by enough veteran talent it could be a great experience for him, and bode well for Canada in the future.
