To be fair, scientists that come out with proof against Global Warming are shunned by their peers and treated like conspiracy nuts. So most scientists choose to avoid it like the plague. You also have the gov't with final say so on what information from the IPCC's reports are released to the public. Which is roughly a single page of information out of a 2,500 page report.

Regardless, taxing people MORE won't stop global warming (if it's true). It will cause the poor and middle class to become nothing but sheep. If you truly want to rid us of coal/oil, we should try to create an energy source (or harness one) that can produce energy at a cheaper rate. We need innovation, not increased taxation. By forcing coal companies and oil companies out of business you're giving a leg up for another business to jump ahead of them. Remember the stimulus and the billions that went to green energy companies that just so happened to be "buddies" with our gov't? All gone, most of the companies went under.

Either way, it really doesn't matter what is ever proven about global warming because everyone's already taken a side on it. Like religion and socialism, no matter of hard evidence will ever persuade the individual to change their beliefs. That's sort of where we are now. It will all be a moot point anyway if you can't get China to buy in anyway.

I'm sorry I'm late to the party.. wanted to throw my 2 cents in and that is it... didn't want to rehash... PM if you want to argue it. I love a good debate!

Onto Hockey... I have Broduer in my fantasy team tonight... figured if I took him he'd crumble and give up 9 goals. If I didn't take him he'd have a double shutout with 5 assists and a goal. You can thank me now for this win.

According to Hockey Reference, no Canadian player has more points over the last three years than Giroux. He and Tavares each have 179.

I guess, I'd like to see them restart the world championships and have them do an international tourney in the offseason.

Dumba sent back to junior after 13 games played. A year burned off his entry deal. One thing about holmer, he's been making the right calls about the kids in the system. I've seen a lot of kids returned this year burning a year on their deal
