I think playing in the Olympics would make him better. Remember when Richards came back? He was on fire. He had a 4 point game in his first game back. Players admit the experience is amazing and they feel it makes them better players. If gives them confidence.

Well, you gotta figure that some (if not all) of these guys will make it if Giroux doesn't:

Tavares
E. Staal
Carter
Duchesne

And we play them before the Olympic break. Just have Rosehill pull a Tonya Harding on them in the locker room before each game and Giroux should slide into a vacant spot.
