If they took the Kunitz/Crosby combo but not the Stamkos/St. Louis combo, then, well, it's bullpoop. |

apparently the team would rather have Carter and Nash on RW instead of G and St. Louis. They are going for speed and shooting. |

They also didn't take the Keith/Seabrook combo. The only combos they took were Getzlaf/Perry (Both deserving) and Crosby/Kunitz.
Without Crosby, Matt Read is better than Kunitz IMO |

They better hope they don't take many penalties unless they count on Bergeron splitting himself into 2 players and each of them killing the entire penalty every time. |

Toews and Sharp are good PK'ers... Carter, Baldy and Perry are capable too. |

I know. Who kills penalties on that team besides Bergeron? Marleau? Toews? Carter? Giroux is better at killing penalties. |

Blackhawks have had one of the worst PKs the last few years. Sharp and Toews have not been very good. |

I wouldn't call them (well, Sharp) "good" really. Last time they had both Bergeron and Richards who are exceptional. It seems like, this time, they're going for "Well, yeah, he's killed penalties before." |

If you ever need a shot right at the goalie with the game on the line late, you know who's taking that shot. |

I know. I don't understand why they wouldn't take Giroux for his versatility. He can play wing and center. He can kill penalties and play on the PP. I guess they felt they needed more speed. |

Or high and wide to spring the other team on an odd man rush. |

Well their defense is impenetrable with the HOFers Hamhuis and J-Bo back there. |

Is it because he didn't go to their stupid ball hockey game this summer? When he was recovering from surgery? Absolute joke Nash or Carter made it over him. I'm with you guys, it's going to be a lot easier to root against Canada. |

Q has phased them out as primary PK'ers during that time to save them for other situations... probably more accurate to blame guys like Kruger, Handzus, the D and Crawford for their PK woes. |
