I don't know man, you have to call an obvious trip that negates a scoring chance. Canucks on the PP with just over 2 min to go is a very different finish.

It's basically the same players that they had last year ... Was it a theme last year ? There are two different elements ... New coach ...bottom line players not seeing as much ice ... Maybe playing the 4th line a bit more would leave your better players fresher at the end ... Just a theory

A few guys on twitter suggesting there is a bit of a buzz about Evander to the Canucks. Apparently we are offering Hansen and Tanev as part of the package. I doubt that's enough to get it done. Would at least have to be a first rounder thrown in there.

Edit: apparently there is a 3rd rounder and Gaunce in there.
