So.....

Hamhuis will probably be in the press box save a injury.

Edler has to sit 3 games in the tourny.

At least those boys get some rest

- Bieksa#3

The only reason Hamhuis is on the team is because of his chemistry with Weber.

I think he'll be fine. He's a great skater which is a major plus on the international ice

I hope you are right.

Stamkos is not guaranteed to be 100% (looks promising though) and there are still a potential for a couple of injuries between now and then.

How lost will Kunitz look out there if Crosby goes down?

- fiveandagame

Kunitz wouldn't be in the lineup if Crosby went down, there's 2 extra forwards on the team and 2 extra defensemen. You can sit out 2 players a game total.

Doughty and Keith are the go to pair

AP and Boumeester are the shutdown pair

Weber and subban are the 3rd pairing

- Bieksa#3

I think they are hoping to have one guy that can jump up into the play with another guy who is more stay at home ... I like the idea of hamhuis and pickles playing with more offensive minded guys

Where's Seabrook then?

I don't think that's the sole reason, he's also a lefty and has been the Canucks most consistent and reliable and best defensive defensemen since signing here. I'm curious to see if they even play those 2 together since I'm betting that Weber will be one of the big minute guys on the team and I expect whoever he's paired with to be right behind him in minutes as well. I expect Keith and Weber to be the top pairing as a lefty and right duo. Doughty on the 2nd pairing with whoever and I think the third pairing will be the Blues duo.

Which is why the pick bothers me. Guys like St. Louis, Giroux ect. have the ability to take a game over all by themselves regardless of their line mates. Kunitz does not.

I hope Team Canada remembers to pack Crosby's fuzzy blue blanket. I heard Crosby can't sleep without it and the end of the day this whole tournament is about making Crosby happy.

Yeah, but if Crosby is out, would you rather have a Marleau on that line or Kunitz?

Keith and Doughty were together last time and dominated once they were. Seabrook rode the pine after Doughy took his spot. Keith and Doughty will be partners no question and the blues duo is the shutdown pair. Weber is at best 3rd pairing.

I guess we'll have to see. All 3 pairing should get pretty decent minutes and special teams will probably make up the difference between who gets more/less minutes.

I think he did after Penner left, and had a high of 61pts. Still his career high at the moment.

I think Weber and pk see limited minutes aside from being the main 2 pp guys

He had to a little ....I thought I heard somewhere today that getzlaf made a comment about playing with him again ... Either way Kunitz is a good player ... Yes there are a few better that were left off but after the trouble Crosby had finding chemistry in Vancouver it's worth a shot ....
